DescriptionThe ECOWAS Commission is participating in the Fourteenth WTO Ministerial Conference (MC14), Yaoundé, Cameroon, 26–29 March 2026 and supporting Member States in representing the trade and development interests of the Community.
Hosted in Africa for the only the second time and chaired by H.E. Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, Cameroon’s Minister of Trade, MC14 is the WTO’s highest decision-making body, convening all 166 member governments. The MC14 agenda covers WTO institutional reform, fisheries subsidies, investment facilitation, e-commerce, agriculture, and development including DC issues. A post-conference statement will be issued summarising key outcomes.
