DescriptionOn the sidelines of the ECOWAS humanitarian field mission to Guinea, the delegation visited the M’boro community in the Préfecture de Forécariah, Republic of Guinea, on 9 April 2026. During the visit, the ECOWAS delegation, alongside national counterparts, conducted a first-hand assessment of ongoing community infrastructure projects coordinated by ANGUSH and implemented by the NGO Zero Poverty Agency.
The projects include a newly renovated block of three classrooms at a primary school, the local health centre, and the construction of a borehole with multiple water access points. These interventions are aimed at enhancing access to clean water, improving sanitation, and elevating the overall standard of living in the M’boro community. These projects are also expected to build and sustain the communities resilience.
